Bargain Buys

Recently I thought I would treat myself to a few new clothes seeing as I now have a job and have not really treated myself to anything yet.  I usually like looking at the Boohoo sale, yes the sale. I may be earning money now but I still have to save.  There were so many items that I wanted to buy, but eventually I narrowed it down to something affordable, and was super excited when I received the package in the post.

Sexy Eyes and Halloween

Do you ever feel like you are living in a dream? I often feel like I am. At the moment my life is perfect for me. I have an awesome job, I have developed good friendships, I have my own independence living with a few flatmates, my family do not live too far away and I enjoy life. My life doesn't feel real. I am now well and truly settled into my new life in this different town and feel like my decision to move and work over here has been the best one I have made in a long time.  Now I have this sorted out, I can carry on blogging regularly and continue enjoying and making the most of life!

New Mascara
I often buy foundation from Lily Lolo, and with a recent purchase they sent me a free mascara, Lash Alert Natural Mascara.  I am a bit wary of free mascaras, but nevertheless I tried this one out and I love it!  Lily Lolo claims that this mascara will volumise and lengthen lashes and it certainly does that! My eyelashes are naturally quite long, but this mascara makes my lashes look amazingly lengthened!  It's not too thick or clumpy, and it's not too much to wear during the day.  I have been wearing this to work, and on  evenings out.  I will definitely be purchasing this in the future!

Halloween
With Halloween coming up I am getting quite excited.  I love fancy dress, especially Halloween fancy dress and zombies are definitely my thing.  So whilst shopping yesterday I had to buy some fake blood to start off the costume preparations.  I have not quite decided what I will be dressing up as yet, but certainly something zombiefied.  I cannot wait!

Goodbye Summer!

A long silence from me!  I've been working hard and I was finding it difficult to keep up with a blog whilst learning so many things in my new job, then I went on holiday, then my internet wouldn't work.  But now hopefully I will be able to blog more regularly.  I am here to show you pictures of my holiday that I went on at the beginning of September.

I had not been on holiday in two years so when my Mum asked me if I wanted to go to Majorca with the family I was super excited. Unfortunately I could only go for six days due to work, but it was a good break nonetheless.

Before going on holiday I went bikini hunting as I seem to have grown out of my old bikinis.

Nobody Likes You When You're 23.

Again, another long silence from me. I have been very busy.  I have a job!! I have not yet started but have been busy organising for my new job and getting a flat sorted! It's all very exciting and I will be posting about it soon.

But on to other news.  I turned twenty-three on Wednesday.  Wow, 23! How scary!  On the evening of my birthday I went out for a meal and drinks with a friend.  The following day me and my Mother went to the theatre in London to see We Will Rock You.  I had never been to a theatre before so that was quite exciting.  I then went out on Friday night with my university mates and spent the day in London on Saturday sunbathing and drinking.  We took a stroll through Hyde Park where we knew the Rolling Stones were playing.  Although we didn't have tickets we were able to stand right next to the stage on the outside of the gate and hear the music very clearly.  We even saw a few glimpses of the band when they opened the gate.  It was such a good atmosphere with people dancing, drinking, trying to peep through the fence and enjoying some free music.  Four days of drinking and no sleep really takes it's toll though and I am now exhausted!

New Buys For Download Festival

It's festival season coming up and I am off to my first festival of the year next week so I have been spending a bit too much money on things I probably don't need.  My first package out of five arrived today from boohoo.com.  I had ordered two pairs of shorts (one which came looking rather creased!) and a onesie.  I have always wanted a onesie but have never quite managed to get one.  This week I started to think of what to wear at night at a festival when it is cold and I am trying to sleep.  Perfect excuse for a onesie right?  I thought so!

I went shopping today not really expecting to see much, and came away with a new dress, skirt, trousers and shoes leaving me feeling quite happy.  Isn't it sad how new purchases make me feel?
